Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Vermetra LLC (“Vermetra”, “we”, “us”) is a United States based paid media and CRO agency for ecommerce brands. This policy explains what personal information we collect through vermetra.com and our business channels, how we use it, and the choices you have.
01Scope
This policy applies to information we collect on our website, through forms, email, calls and proposals, and in the course of providing services to our clients.
When we operate advertising accounts, analytics tools or ecommerce platforms on behalf of a client, we act as a service provider to that client. The client's own privacy policy governs the data of its shoppers, and we handle that data only under the client's instructions.
02Information we collect
Information you give us: name, business email, phone number, company or store name, website URL, and any details you include in a form, message or discovery call.
Automatically collected information: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, session duration, referral source, and campaign parameters such as UTM tags.
We do not request sensitive personal information, government identifiers, or payment card numbers through this website.
03How we use information
To respond to inquiries, prepare proposals and schedule meetings.
To deliver, support, invoice and improve our services under a client engagement.
To measure website and campaign performance, including conversion measurement and audience insights.
To send marketing communications about our services where permitted. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
04Advertising, analytics and Meta compliance
We use advertising and measurement technologies from third parties, including the Meta pixel and Conversions API, Google Analytics and Google Ads tags, and TikTok Pixel, to understand traffic sources and measure conversions.
When we implement Meta business tools for ourselves or for a client, we do so in line with Meta's Business Tools Terms, Advertising Standards and data-use limitations: we do not send prohibited data categories (such as health, financial account, precise biometric or other sensitive information), we honor user consent and opt-out signals, and we do not use Meta data for purposes other than authorized advertising, measurement and optimization.
Where required, consent for non-essential advertising and analytics tags is collected before those tags fire, and signals such as Limited Data Use for applicable state privacy laws are enabled.
05How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We disclose information to service providers that operate our business: hosting, email, CRM, scheduling, analytics and advertising platforms including Meta, Google and TikTok.
Sharing data with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under certain U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out as described below.
We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or business transfer.
06Retention
We keep business contact information for as long as there is an active or prospective relationship, and afterwards as needed for tax, accounting and legal obligations.
Analytics and advertising data are retained according to each platform's retention settings, generally in aggregated or pseudonymized form.
07Your U.S. privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing, and certain profiling.
To exercise a right, email hello@vermetra.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally 45 days. You may use an authorized agent.
California residents may also request information about disclosures for direct marketing purposes. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where technically feasible.
08Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
09Security and international transfers
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including role-based access, multi-factor authentication on critical tools, and vendors with recognized security standards.
We operate from the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S. under this policy.
No system is perfectly secure. If an incident affects your information, we will act promptly and notify you where required by law.
10Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technologies or applicable law. The current version and its date are always posted on this page.
